Inform effective humanitarian targeting and response design Background & Rationale Severe drought conditions in Hiran Region significantly impacted livelihoods, food security, and access to essential services. A baseline survey was required to establish pre-intervention benchmarks and inform evidence-based humanitarian programming aimed at mitigating the effects of climate shocks. Scope of Work 1. Designed baseline survey tools and sampling framework 2. Conducted household surveys and key informant interviews 3. Analyzed drought-related socio-economic impacts 4. Developed baseline datasets for monitoring purposes 5. Produced comprehensive baseline report Methodology & Approach A quantitative household survey approach was combined with qualitative interviews to assess drought impacts on livelihoods, food security, and coping mechanisms.
