Tropical Consult conducts sectoral training needs analyses to identify precise training requirements. By assessing the needs and identifying training gaps, we develop a comprehensive strategy to deliver tailored, high-quality training programs. Our aim is to equip participants with practical skills and hands-on experience, enabling them to confidently tackle workplace challenges on a daily basis. As a multidisciplinary training provider, we offer a wide range of both short and long-term training options. Training Needs Analysis (TNA):

Training Needs Analysis (TNA) is crucial as it identifies specific skill gaps, enabling organizations to design targeted training programs that address those needs effectively.

Tropical Consult follows a structured training process that consists of several stages. In the first stage, we work closely with the organization to determine the specific training needs aligned with its overarching goals. Through this initial assessment, we identify areas where skills improvement is required.

Next, in the second stage, we conduct pre-training activities to gain a deeper understanding of the skill gaps identified during the Training Needs Analysis (TNA). This helps us design a curriculum and develop learning materials that precisely address those gaps. Our aim is to ensure that the training programs are tailored to meet the unique requirements of each organization.

Moving on to the third stage, we implement the training program using the carefully designed curriculum and learning materials. Our experienced trainers deliver interactive sessions, incorporating practical exercises and hands-on experiences to enhance participants’ learning and skill development.

Lastly, in the fourth stage, we conduct a post-training evaluation to measure the impact of the training. This evaluation allows us to assess the changes that have occurred as a result of the training and provides valuable feedback for continuous improvement.

Coaching:

On-the-Job Training (OJT):

Tropical Consult offers pragmatic and interactive teaching approaches in the domains of planning, management, and finance. Through our On-the-Job Training (OJT) programs, we facilitate the development of practical skills, knowledge, and competencies that are directly applicable to real-world contexts. Our OJT initiatives serve to reinforce and enhance the outcomes achieved through our diverse range of consulting services, including TVET, Third Party Monitoring, Curriculum Development, Data Collection Services, Data Management, Research, Training and Capacity Building, and other cross-cutting areas. We understand the importance of customization, and therefore, offer the flexibility to combine OJT with other training and capacity-building services, catering to the specific needs and requirements of our valued customers.
